Terms & Conditions

Estimates and Payments

All estimates are provided in Namibian Dollars (NAD) and are payable in NAD via bank transfer free of charge. The NAD is pegged 1:1 to the South African Rand (ZAR).

For trips to countries that require US Dollars (USD) like Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania etc., costs will be estimated in USD and payable in USD, also via free-of-charge bank transfer.

Each estimate is based on costs known at the date of issue and clearly specifies all included and all excluded services. Rates are subject to availability at the time of booking confirmation. Your Safari reserves the right to book alternative accommodation or services if those originally quoted for are no longer available.

In the event of unforeseen cost increase such as fuel, accommodation, levies and taxes or any other factors beyond our control, Your Safari reserves the right to adjust the final price for the travel package. Especially small aircraft operators expressly reserve the right to change the flight costs.

Furthermore, in the case of a fly-in safari, if a different route or weather-related detours need to be taken, the guest may be asked to cover the additional costs.

The final confirmation is binding for both parties. For any changes thereafter an administration fee of NAD300 per accommodation will be charged.

The travel documents will be sent to the guest after Your Safari has received the full payment.

The guest is responsible for booking the international flights. It is recommended that guests offset CO2 emissions for a sustainable journey. Your Safari does not offer international flight arrangements outside the safari itineraries.

Deposits and Cancellation Fees

Your Safari adhere to the specified deposit and cancellation conditions of the providers booked for the guest. A deposit of 40% of the total amount is due by the guest upon receiving the booking confirmation. The balance is to be paid 45 days prior to the start of the journey. Bookings received in less than 45 days before arrival need to be paid within 5 days of final confirmation and no later than 7 days before arrival, whichever is first.

In the event of travel cancellation before the trip has started, all outstanding deposits to various providers, minus any applicable service fees and bank charges, are to be refunded.

In the event of guests departing before the completion of the tour, no refund or credit can be granted.

Travel Insurance and Liability

Insurance covering trip cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses during travel, repatriation costs, and luggage loss is not included in the travel package price. Travellers are required to have adequate travel insurance for emergency medical assistance and repatriation. Proof of insurance may be requested. It is recommended that guests insure trip cancellation, curtailment and luggage as well.

Your Safari is not responsible for any costs arising from changes caused by natural disasters or any other factors beyond our control.

Your Safari shall not be held liable for the safety, sickness, injury or death of any guest. Nor for any damage to belongings of guests that is beyond our control.

With the less elaborate infrastructure in Southern and Eastern Africa and vast distances between destinations, unforeseen factors can require spontaneous changes of itinerary or cause temporary inconveniences until assistance is available. In case of any incidents, Your Safari will undertake appropriate measures to remedy any situation as quickly as possible.

Your Safari aims to provide comprehensive and current travel information but does not assume responsibility or liability for any inaccuracy or omission.

Travel Documents and Responsibilities

Guests are requested to ensure that all passports, necessary vaccination certificates, and other travel documents, as well as visa and entry requirements, are valid and met for each destination. Your Safari does not assume any responsibility in this regard.

The guest shall inform Your Safari upfront in case of any ailments, disabilities or other conditions that might affect the guest’s wellbeing during the trip. Your Safari will carefully choose the travel routes, mode of travel, accommodation and activities to meet the guest’s needs. Any special dietary requirements should be communicated by the guest upon booking.

Guests are required to adhere to legal regulations of the chosen destinations and to keep the natural environment clean and intact.
